Warranty
Smart Toilet Australia warranty for all Smart Toilets is valid for three(3) years after date of purchase or, date of delivery(whichever is later). This warranty is not transferable. This warranty specifically applies to toilets which are used for domestic purposes only. Three year warranty applies to the top seat-cover assembly.
Warranty on the ceramic base is five(5) years.
Smart Toilet Australia warranty for all Bidet Seats is valid for two(2) years after date of purchase or, date of delivery(whichever is later). This warranty is not transferable. This warranty specifically applies to Bidet Seats which are used for domestic purposes only.
This warranty only applies to Bidet Seats which have been installed by a licensed plumber.
(Proof of certified plumber installation is required.)
Smart Toilet Australia warranty is applicable to the product, and to components which are supplied with the product. (Warranty of RPZD is covered separately by vendor of this product.) Smart Toilet Australia warranty is not applicable to onsite work carried out during product installation. This responsibility is covered by the installing plumber. If installation process has not been in accordance with supplied Installation Instructions, then warranty responsibility may be voided. (e.g., When supply pipework has not been flushed correctly, damage may occur to inlet flush solenoids within the Smart Toilet.)
Smart Toilet Australia warranty will be voided if so ever the owner initiates or facilitates unapproved modification to the original product or associated components.
Smart Toilet Australia warranty will be voided if there is evidence of rough handling/excessive application of force, which results in an outright breakage of product.
Voiding of warranty will also result if there is evidence of the Smart Toilet/Bidet Seat being subjected to activity: ‘Not within the normal scope of Smart Toilet/Bidet Seat usage‘ e.g., inappropriate application of strong benzine based cleaners like methylated spirits, kerosene etc onto the seat-cover assembly or, application of harsh cleaning agents like boracic powder, liquid ammonia, clove oil, strong alkaline cleaning agents etc, anywhere on the product.
In all of the above examples, any corrective action undertaken by Smart Toilet Australia will not be covered by warranty – for parts or labour.
Returns
Smart Toilet Australia’s refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your date of purchase or, date of delivery(whichever is later), We cannot offer a full refund or exchange.
Any return request which is because of delivery damage must be reported within 14 days of delivery. This is because of Freight Insurance time constraints. To complete your return, We may require up to six photo images which show the condition of the product prior to return shipping and, any damage – if applicable.
To be eligible for a return/refund, your Smart Toilet or Bidet Seat must be unused, and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be sealed in the original packaging.
You will be responsible for payment of shipping costs when returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Because Smart Toilets and Bidet Seats are sanitary goods, We cannot accept any product for return/refund that has been used.
Your purchase should not be sent back to any agency other than Smart Toilet Australia.
A partial refund may only be granted are if all of the below criteria are met:
- Our product is in 100% original condition, and sealed in original packaging.
- Structural and electrical integrity is 100%.
- The request for is return more than 30 days, but not exceeding 90 days after delivery.
Refunds
When returning items, you should use a trackable shipping service or, purchase some form of shipping insurance. Processing of refund all claims is dependent upon Smart Toilet Australia receiving the returned item. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Once your return is received and inspected, We will send you an email to notify that your returned item has been received. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection status of your refund request.
If your request is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 30 days.
Late or missing refunds
If you have not received a refund, first check your bank account again, then contact your credit card company. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items
Special sale or discounted items will be refunded only to the actual Sale Price.
Exchanges
We only exchange/replace items which are contained within the product, or are supplied with the product. (RPZD valves are handled by their own vendor.) If any other items are defective i.e., not operating normally/correctly, they will be normally be exchanged.
You will be responsible for payment of shipping costs when returning any item for exchange. Shipping costs are non-refundable. We will send all exchange/replacement items to the original product delivery address. Cost of exchange item shipment back to customers may incur further shipping costs.
Depending on where you live, the time taken for your exchange/replacement item to reach you may vary.
